Bluetooth Cell Phones

What is a Bluetooth cell phone? You see free bluetooth headset offers on many phones. Reading phone features, you see different Bluetooth versions and also hear this magic word from everyone and see it associated with many new gadgets and technologies.

Bluetooth is a technology that connects two or more devices wirelessly. These devices can be cell phones, printers, computers or anything else. Bluetooth wireless technology is very popular and with a range of about 33 feet, makes connecting and transferring data between many devices very easy.

So far, the biggest use of Bluetooth technology has been to connect a headset to the phone itself and be used to talk hands-free and wirelessly. Once a Bluetooth headset is connected or paired with a Bluetooth enabled cell phone, you can put your cell phone anywhere within 33 feet of your headset and you will be able to talk and converse freely. Truly, this is a big convenience over wearing a headset that's physically connected to your phone and you have to carry the phone with you as you walk around to talk. But this is not the only use for Bluetooth technology.

Using Bluetooth With Other Devices
Another great use of the Bluetooth technology is to connect your cell phone with your laptop or desktop computer. Many new laptops either already come with Bluetooth technology or that is one of the options when purchasing a new laptop. Bluetooth technology is not the norm for desktop computers and in order to Bluetooth enable a desktop computer, you will have to purchase a wireless USB adapter that will give your desktop computer wireless capability.

Once you have a Bluetooth enabled laptop or desktop, you can connect or pair it with your Bluetooth cell phone and transfer files, pictures and music from your computer to your cell phone and vice versa. You can also connect your cell phone with cell phones from other friends and family members and transfer pictures, music, files and other things depending on the model and feature capabilities of your phone.

There are many new products being introduced to the market with Bluetooth technology, this opens up new ways of communicating and they all make it easier than ever to connect multiple devices together.

Here's a list of some popular cell phones with Bluetooth technology:
T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl
Cingular Motorola Razr V3 Blue
Sprint Motorola Q
