The LG Versa VX9600 is a touchscreen phone that offers the option of a QWERTY keyboard for those people who don't like using touchscreens. As an "option" you can choose to attach the keyboard, or simply leave it off, depending upon your preference.
Without the keyboard attached, the Versa looks similar to the LG Dare. It has a 3 inch, 240x480 pixel screen which provides the high resolution everyone is coming to expect on their touchscreen cell phones.
Attaching the keyboard involves simply popping of the back panel and slipping the handset into the keyboard case, which is made of a leather-looking plastic. The keyboard is very roomy and easy to type on.
The Versa-tility continues if you choose to order the Gamepad, which allows you to attach the handset to a slider-style game pad. It attaches as easily as the keyboard and is nicely responsive.
All in all, the LG Versa VX9600 for Verizon does live up to the LG reputation. It seems to be a great choice for the younger set as it is a great texting device and and has the gaming option.
