The HTC Ozone is a great entry-level smartphone offered by Verizon Wireless. Some people are turned off when you refer to something as "entry-level" as if it means lesser, but this is not the case. Remember, when choosing a phone, you want to buy according to what your priorities are. If you want a smartphone because you want to stay in touch with friends, and you are not needing it to try to run your company from the gym, or your kid's soccer game, then the Ozone is a solid choice.
In terms of its look, the HTC Ozone has a simple yet classy two-toned appearance - black in front, gray in back. It is small, thin, and lightweight and has a 2.4 in display. This is not a touchcreen phone.
Text and instant messaging are a breeze with the QWERTY keyboard and it even offers some clever shortcuts from the spacebar that you'll have fun mastering.
The Ozonw comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 which offers Microsoft Direct Push Technology which gives you automatic synchronization with Outlook through Exchange Server. You can also access POP3 and IMAP e-mail accounts.
The big news with this phone is that it comes with Wi-Fi, which means when you use it in a hotspot, you will not be charged for data usage. Many of the more popular and non-entry level phones will not have Wi-Fi simply because the carriers lose money. This is a huge feature to consider.
If you are looking for a smartphone that is not going to make you feel dumb because it's too complicated, the HTC Ozone might just be the one you are looking for.
